DIGITAL FABRICATION REVOLUTION

Digital Fabrication enables users to design and build architectural shapes as one single creative process. This new methodology entails a review of the relationship between the architectural project and the way it functions within the surrounding environment. For the first time, architectural design will have to be fully integrated with environmental strategies (both active and passive). 3D Printing could open a new scenario, whereby environmental strategies become new creative foundations for a new generation of architecture and design languages.
